On November 10, 2009, Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2 launched worldwide. The most-anticipated game of 2009 and the sequel to the best-selling first-person action game of all time, Modern Warfare 2 continues the gripping and heart-racing action as players face off against a new threat dedicated to bringing the world to the brink of collapse.
Ethix Studios was called in to provide a custom highly-scalable content management system to deal with the large bursts of traffic anticipated in the days approaching the game's launch, as well as sustained availability during the game's placement in large media outlets, such as Monday Night Football. The site also acts as the primary website for the game's developer, Infinity Ward.
